When I paint, the creative process is an evolving experience--exasperating one moment, exhilarating the next. I enjoy the challenge of putting the initial brush strokes and colors onto a canvas and seeing where they take me.
Sometimes there are conscious decisions, sometimes frenetic impulses. There are false starts, sputters and dead ends--but I usually arrive at a place I could never have imagined, and that’s what makes it worthwhile."
